For wild souls.
Waya was born from a simple gesture, here space matters more than form: two fragments. a wire. an intuition.
In the Okavango Delta, in Botswana, there is a place where nature holds sway; a child weaves two fragments of film together with a simple piece of wire. In this simple instinctive gesture, the soul of WAYA was born. The genuine creativity of those having few resources but a deep insight of the world.
Waya means “wire” in the Bantu language: an inspired idea that shapes a form. We do not design objects, but intervals; we do not add lines, but we subtract matter to create space for the voids in order to let the form, finally, breathe.
The surface, slightly organic, carries the traces of its evolution: not a sterile perfection, but a living, an almost-mineral texture that vibrates to the touch.
WAYA is designed for those who perceive even before understanding. WAYA is meant to be for people who look for an object to be an extension of their way of seeing the world, rather than a status symbol.
Instead of chasing passing trends, we pursue the breath of essential form — an enduring essence in a changing world.
Observing is a creative act.

Anatomyof an Interval
- β-titanium wire A single drawn β-titanium wire carries the whole front — flexible and super-lightweight.
- Customized hinge A customized hinge for this frame. No screws come loose, because the screw is stuck inside a cylinder blocked within the hinge.
- SLS 3D printing The front is 3D laser-sintered. The leather-feel texture is due to the production process and not to a finish applied afterwards.
- Rubber terminal tips and silicone nose pads The rubber terminal tips are made in Italy with the best quality of rubber in the market.
Communication is a tribute to Africa, the country where the project was born; we use masks rather than faces, people who are used to not wanting to prove anything other than their own essence.

A tribute toZaha Hadid
Zaha Hadid did not simply design buildings; she captured the wind and shaped it into geometric forms, freeing architecture from the gravity. Her works are symphonies of fluid lines and bold curves, where concrete and steel shed their earthly rigidity to become a fluid, lightweight material.
A pioneer of tomorrow, she knew how to transform the chaos of the contemporary world into a futuristic aesthetic, fragmenting space only to reassemble it into avant-garde visions. Each of her structures interacts with its surroundings like a living organism, a bridge spanning the gap between the purest imagination and urban reality.
A tribute toSantiago Calatrava
Santiago Calatrava weaves materials like a filament of light, transforming the rigor of engineering into vibrant organic poetry. His iconic grid structures unfold in space like lightweight skeletons, ribs of concrete and steel that evoke the anatomy of nature.
In this dense interweaving of geometric lines, architecture sheds all rigidity to become pure movement.
